Frequently asked questions
Plans, billing, data privacy, and how the assistant interacts with your database. Can't find an answer? hello@ask2do.com.
- What counts toward my monthly limit?
- Every chat turn meters usage against your plan's monthly limit. When you hit the limit, the assistant pauses for the rest of the period — but past sessions and your audit log stay accessible.
- Where does my data live?
- The sidecar runs on your infrastructure (a Go binary on a systemd unit, Docker, or Kubernetes). It holds your DB credentials and answers cloud queries in-place. The cloud orchestrator never has direct DB access.
- Can I switch plans later?
- Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades (and switches to Free) take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep what you paid for through the end of the month.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. We pause your tenant immediately when our payment provider reports the subscription as canceled — no surprise charges, no lock-in.
- What about more than one panel?
- Each plan covers one panel/tenant. Email enterprise@ask2do.com for multi-panel pricing or custom role allow-lists.
- Will the AI accidentally drop my tables?
- No.
DROP,TRUNCATE, and bareDELETEare blocked at the SQL parser before they can reach your DB. Updates require a human admin to click Approve. The sidecar only holds the role grants you give it. - Will the price change?
- We give existing customers at least 30 days' notice before any price change, via email and an in-app banner. Your current subscription stays at the price you signed up at until the next renewal after the notice period. If you don't agree with a new price, you can cancel before it takes effect with no penalty. The full policy is in our Terms of Service.
- What about my data privacy?
- Platform data lives in the European Union. We store the minimum needed to run the service — your email, billing state, conversation history (90 days), and a hash of your tenant key. We never store raw rows from your database; those stay on your infrastructure. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
